Natural Egg Dyeing
Add a delightful touch of Spring to your home décor with natural dyed eggs (like those shown on left). When dangling on ribbons from bleached curly willow branches, these dyed eggs create a beautiful egg tree, or nestled in a pretty bowl or apothecary jar, they make a wonderful centerpiece on your table. At this three-hour hands-on workshop with Dawn, you will learn how to dye real eggs in a color palette of your choice using dyes from natural materials such as fruits, vegetables, herbs, coffee, wine and more. See many fun and inspiring ways Dawn displays beautifully dyed eggs in her home décor. Workshops are usually held two to four weeks before the Easter holiday.
$30 fee per person includes: instructions handout for making various hot and cold dyes, 18 eggs, dyes and dyeing materials, and a carton to transport your eggs home.
Please be aware that the dyes may stain clothing. Dress accordingly or bring an apron.

Festive Fall Table Decor
Capture the wonderful smells, textures, and colors of fall; with festive centerpieces and personalized place settings for Thanksgiving (like those shown on left). You will learn how to make lovely botanical arrangements with pumpkins, gords, flowers, cookies; and botanicals that can be harvested, even this late in the season, from your gardens. These beautiful fall creations will make a delightful statement for your Thanksgiving table decor, or a thoughtful hostess gift.
Fees will vary based on size and quantities of your centerpieces and or personalized place settings.
This workshop is held a few days just before Thanksgiving.
