A native of Wisconsin, Dawn Koehler grew up in a creative and hard-working family environment. She discovered a love for growing plants as a child working alongside her parents in the family yard and gardens. She worked as a gardener in Sisson’s Peony Gardens, now a registered historic site, located in her home town of Rosendale. Thirty years later, Dawn returns home to do volunteer work in those same gardens which have recently been restored.
Pursuing her creative talents, Dawn graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a BFA in graphic design. As a local designer and published stylist, she has had a successful career for 20 years as a photo stylist, studio manager, and graphic designer in the gift industry. Her strong interest in creative work flourished in other areas of design such as accessory, interior and garden design, and creating artisanal cookies for more than 15 years.
As an avid gardener and founder of her gourmet club, Dawn enjoys preparing and sharing wonderful food while entertaining family and friends in her home and gardens. Looking for a career that was creative, flexible, rewarding, and would utilize her many strong skills, Dawn established a creative services business that conducts workshops to inspire creativity and fun, and provides creative support services to enrich the lives of hard-working, time-starved individuals.
